With Christmas day 2013 behind us, it's time to prep for the new year! Yes, there are bunch of New Year goals and preparations to think about, but I'm mainly gushing over this new coat I purchased. This Kate Spade navy blue ruffled coat has a vintage vibe and is a great statement piece to add to any closet. With the ruffles cascading down the coat and a belt that assists with defining the waist, this coat is definitely a winner!

Merry Christmas!! I am so glad it's that day. Today, I will be focusing on spending the day with my family and braving the cold weather with hot chocolate and a great home cooked meal. This elegant floral applique dress is not a bad way to spend the holiday, either.

Hi everybody!

This DVF wrap skirt is modern with its leather material and metallic color. Pairing it with a darker colored blouse, like this plum one, transforms this outfit into a Fall ensemble. Pewter heels coincide with the color of the shimmery color of the skirt. This outfit is definitely a contemporary closet must-have!

In other news, Christmas Eve is tomorrow! I can't wait to enjoy some family time. My agenda tomorrow includes family, worship, fireplace, and food! Not so bad, eh?
