Dress It Up with ASOS for Thanksgiving

Hi everybody!

Today I am featuring some of my favorite dresses for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. ASOS is one of my favorite stores to go online shopping. Their clothes are always stylish, well-made, and can fit in anyone's budget without causing major damage.
Thanksgiving at my house means family, friends, and lots of food. My family and I celebrate this special occasion for days. We have family members coming from all over the country. This year, 34 people of them are coming over for dinner. I can't wait for the festivities begin.

DIY Baseball Dress

Dress: 5-7-9 (similar here, here, or here)   Iron-on Numbers: Transfermations via Michaels   Sneakers; Converse   Baseball Cap: Foot Locker (also here) (shop all baseball caps here)

How to make a baseball dress:

First step: Wash your dress. This will help the letters to permanently stay on the dress. Do not use fabric softener.

Second step: Preheat dry iron and test if your fabric tolerates that temperature.

Third step: Preheat the fabric surface with a hot iron for about ten seconds.

Fourth step: Cut out the numbers you want and place them on the area of the fabric that you want them to be.

Fifth step: Place a cotton press cloth (I used a bandanna) on the letters and start to iron. Apply steady and firm pressure on the cloth for 60 seconds. Make sure to apply heat over each number. Seal the edge of each number by pressing the outer edge with the tip of the iron.

Sixth step: Remove the cloth and turn the dress inside out. Press the iron pn the dress for 20 seconds, making sure to go over each number. Seal the edges with tip of the iron. Glide the iron over the whole design for another 5-10 seconds.

Seventh step: Flip the dress back over and slowly peel the numbers off. If the numbers stick to the plastic top sheet, continue to iron with the cotton press cloth.

-I hope you liked this tutorial. It is a fun and inexpensive way to make a cute baseball dress.

Thank you so much for reading!

Stay beautiful,

Sofia
