Spain Travels

Hi everybody!

This is the last part of my travel adventures through Europe. Today's destination : Spain.

Madrid and Barcelona are full of the rich Spanish culture. Between the delicious tapas and the flamenco shows that you pass by regularly, these two Spanish countries are bursting with pride.
My favorite site in Barcelona was La Sagrada Familia (The Sacred Family) church. This is an enormous building carved from top to bottom with stories from the Bible. Now I know what people mean when they say "it takes your breath away." I was in awe the whole time as I quickly snapped photos  walking throughout the whole building. The most interesting part of the church to me was the columns inside that were shaped like trees, branching out when they reached the ceiling.

My favorite part of Spain was seeing my Spanish family for the first time. They were so welcoming and were our tour guides throughout our stay. I am so glad I got to meet them.

Next Stop France

This is part 2 of my trip to Europe : France.

The twinkling lights, the classic architecture, the Parisian style. I fell in love with Paris as soon as I arrived.

From when I walked off the train I knew I was officially in Paris. The French language so smooth and romantic  buzzing in my ears, as the Parisians rush to their assigned train with their berets and pencil skirts on.  The trickling rain drops falling from the grey clouds, giving Paris that romantic feel that I have always tried to picture in my head.

The sites were absolutely gorgeous. I will never forget the first time I saw the Eiffel Tower. It was the night that we arrived and my family and I decided to explore the City of Lights. As we passed cream buildings and the Arc de Triomphe, my family and I were in awe at the fact that we were in Paris. My sister and I were holding my cousin's hand as my parents and aunt followed behind. I suddenly looked to the left and saw the Louvre. The amazing pyramid shaped museum where the Mona Lisa rests day in and out. As we were staring in awe at the Louvre, my sister suddenly shouted, "Look to your right!" And there stood the majestic Eiffel Tower. Words cannot express the sense of wonder I felt the first time I laid eyes on that beauty. As it twinkled right before our eyes, I started to cry and think how blessed I am to see the most famous structure in the world.

My family and I had a blast in France. We visited Paris and the South of France during our trip. The countryside was so relaxing. We had stayed in a villa in a small town, so relaxing. We also traveled to St. Jeannet, where we rested in a hotel on top of a mountain. Through out our trip in the South of France, we rented a car and drove to Nice, Eze, and Monaco. All were spectacular places that I will always remember!

London Trip

There she is, the Westminster Abbey!

Tea Time at Kensington Palace (where Lady Diana lived)!

The Big Ben and House of Parliament. Beautiful!

Hi everybody!

This past summer I went on a trip to London, France, and Spain. The sites were spectacular. I just couldn't believe I was standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. All the countries were so different and so were there style.  London had a classy city vibe, France had a laid back Parisian style, and Spain had clothes that popped out at you with their beautiful color palettes.

Today, I am going to elaborate a little more on my trip to London.

When my family and I arrived we were ready to see the bustling city. I was most excited to walk in the Westminster Abbey as if I were Kate Middleton,  the gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge . So, when we started to walk in the city I immediately noticed all the sites jump out at me. The Big Ben, The London Eye, and The Buckingham Palace. (All those long lectures in class really prepared me on my knowledge of these famous places) They are all so grand and magnificently intricate. The details on each and every building were carefully placed and beautifully done.

The moment I was waiting for came on the second day of our trip : The Westminster Abbey. I recognized it right when I saw it. I started to scream at the site of the lovely Church with its crisp white steps ( the steps that Kate and Pippa took before Kate said "I do" to her Prince Charming) and the big doors that so many royals and stars walked into to see the royal wedding.

Overall, my trip to London was completely magical.

Thanksgiving Outfit

Top: Ralph Lauren   Sweater vest: Ralph Lauren   Booties: Target   Shorts: American Eagle

Hi everybody!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Thanksgiving full of blessings and love. I am so grateful for so many things such as, this blog and my readers. I am so grateful for you all.

My holiday outfit has cream and brown tones that correlate with Fall/Thanksgiving colors. This Ralph Lauren faux fur sweater vest has faux fur along the collar. The sweater pops out of the whole outfit and is the main piece, like a turkey in a Thanksgiving dinner. The cream shorts and long sleeved shirt are the neutrals and the side piece, like the yams and mash potatoes. The booties complete this rustic outfit giving the outfit a bit of edge.

Hi everybody,

For today, I wore my black Zara lace shorts that I found this summer. They are a versatile piece that can be worn as classy or casual. Make sure to invest in lace clothing this season. They're a hot trend for this Fall.

While walking through Ross, I came across these blue suede Guess shoes. They are very unique with their wedges and ankle straps that make it in trendy. Once I bought these shoes, I could not wait to wear them. So, I wore this vivid cobalt blue sweater that are the exact same color of the shoes.

Cool Days and Warm Tones

Leather Jacket: Zara   Top: Sans Souci  via Marshalls (recent)    Pants: Urban Outfitters
                    Scarf: H&M    Booties: Cole Haan

Hi everybody!

Today's featured outfit involves my favorite leather jacket and a cozy sweater underneath. The cream knit sweater I am wearing is warm and cozy (perfect for those Fall/Winter days).  The leather jacket complements the beige tones of the sweater nicely. This is my absolute favorite jacket for its quality, texture, and color. When I was shopping a leather jacket, I cam across this one and thought it would be good to buy it because this jacket is not the usual black color.

Pairing my black pants and my black booties with the rest of the outfit keeps the Fall color palette consistent in the outfit, while a cool vibe to the look. Lastly, my light pink scarf keeps me warm, while staying stylish.
