Hi everybody!

Happy Halloween!

I wanted to start my post off today with my Audrey Hepburn Halloween costume. Audrey Hepburn is one of my fashion icons. Her effortlessly classic style is been timeless. Fashionistas are wearing her style of clothing to this day. She truly is an inspiration.

Today's outfit is a blue/beige polka dot dress. I love the combination of these two colors. The bottom is pleated. The dress came with a hot pink belt, but I opted for a thin red belt to match my new Mary Jane red heels. If a dress comes with a belt don't be afraid to add one of your previous belts to the look.

This is a great outfit for work or a date night.

Stay beautiful,

Sofia

Gingham Style

Top: Ralph Lauren   Faux Fur Vest: Jones New York Collection   Bottoms: Urban Outfitters   Boots: Tahari   Sunnies: Loft   Ring: Target  Bracelet: Tiffany & Co.

Hi everybody!

The cool weather has come and I finally was able to wear my faux fur vest. The raccoon style faux fur vest is unique for its faux fur in the front and knit style in the back. My gingham shirt adds a casual New England feel to the look.  Although they are completely different colors, the sweater and shirt complement each other nicely. My black pants are casual yet fitting to tuck into my new riding boots. The riding boots' buckle is its main focal point. The equestrian type of boot is my favorite and after two years of eagerly searching I found my pair. The Tiffany bracelet and Sterling Silver bow ring feminize the outfit. Lastly, my aviator sunglasses top off this look.

Thank you for being the wonderful readers and supporters that you all are.

Stay beautiful,

Sofia

60's Chic

My outfit: Trench coat: Ralph Lauren  Shoes: Zara  earrings: Target  leather bracelet: Soho NYC
My friend's: leather jacket: Express  Maxi skirt: BB Dakota   top: TJ MAXX  Necklace: Tiffany & Co

Hi everybody!

Happy Thursday!

This is the second part of my fab photo shoot with my friend. This shoot is all about the 60's from the teased hair to the mod outfits.
I am wearing a Ralph Lauren trench coat. The design is absolutely stunning with the horse shoes and the 'RL' letters intertwining to make a spectacular and unique pattern. To add a pop of color to my brown outfit I wore these leopard Zara heels with a red ankle strap. These are fun to wear and are a great choice if you want to add something unexpected to your outfit. To go with the color of my ankle straps these drop earrings , which stand out while at the same time blend with the theme of the mod look. I finished this look off with bright red lipstick.

My friend is wearing this beautiful maxi skirt that has a dramatic slit on the side. She decided to punk out her outfit with a leather motorcycle jacket and a bright red blouse that pops out from all the black on top. The red heels and bright red lipstick correspond with the red blouse and makes a beautiful combination between the dark, charcoal black color and the bold red color. The Tiffany & Co. necklace was the right accessory for this outfit.

Thank you for reading.

Friends Love Fashion

Blouse: Tj Maxx   Skirt: Target   Heels: Nine West  Bracelet: Ily Couture Rings: Kay

Dress: Kohls   Belt: Kohls   Wedges: Talbots   Bracelets: Vintage  Necklace: Tj Maxx

Hi everybody!

Most people my age hang out by going to the mall or the movie theater, but my friend and I take photos for this fashion blog! I know, it sounds crazy even as I am typing this out! We had a blast taking photos and had a lot of laughs. So I hope you enjoy!

I am wearing a tweed skirt. It is very interesting because it has metallic, silver, and black colors woven into this skirt. My sheer black blouse is great for the skirt it adds simplicity and elegance. The heels I have on are so sparkly. They correlate with the hint of sparkle in my skirt. My new accessory is this pave link bracelet I just bought from Ily Couture. It is beautiful and the encrusted diamonds shine anywhere I go. Also, I am wearing two eternity style diamond rings.

My friend is wearing a fuchsia pink dress with fun ruffles. The belt adds to the casual chic look. These gorgeous Talbots wedges match perfectly with the style and color of the dress. I love this fun look that my friend created.

Thank you for reading my posts and helping this blog to grow.

To those of you who have battled or are battling cancer:

I dedicate this post to my grandmother whom I lost seven years ago and you. Your strength, integrity, and courage is one to be honored greatly. Through all the trials that life throws at you stay strong and keep your faith up.

I have seen many of my family members and friends get diagnosed with cancer. Their strong will and determination to survive has touched my heart. Their attitude has influenced me to join cancer organizations, raising awareness and more importantly hope. Each dollar that is donated, praying for it to be the one that finds a cure. I am praying for you.

I also dedicate this post to the caregivers of those who have this disease.

Each and every one of you are my inspiration.

Stay strong,

Sofia

Mixing Patterns

Dress: French Connection   Scarf: Target   Shoes: GUESS   Purse: Tj Maxx (old)   Watch: GUESS

Hi everybody!

Today  I decided on trying a super hot Fall trend: mixing patterns. When most people think of mixing patterns they get quite scared because it is a bold fashion statement. But my advice to you is to go outside of the box and try something new. There are so many patterns out there and quite often than not they do go along with another pattern. If you want to try mixing textures and materials of different articles of clothing, than that is a great way to start transitioning into mixing patterns.

My French Connection dress has a striped pattern. I love this dress because the colors go so well together. So, my scarf is polka dots, but it makes the outfit pop out. Without the scar this look would not be as uniquely stylish as if it had the scarf. Their is a similarity between the dress and the scarf, which is that they both have the color blue in them. So, their similar colors make them correlate a little bit more.

I am in love with my color block ankle strap pumps. The platform is the color red and the heel is purple. The red platforms goes with the red in the dress making a harmony of reds and blues.

My black quilted purse, diamond earrings, and gold watch are nice final touches to the whole all-American outfit.

Thank you for all of your support.

Sofia

Into the Wild

Dress: Marshalls   Shoes: Aldo (similar here)  Necklace: Max&Chloe  Bracelets: Vintage

Hi everybody!

Animal print is a fierce pattern that is seen on any type of clothing or accessory. Today I wore a wrap dress in animal print. This is a great fall look for its warm colors and accessories. The dress is constructed beautifully from the loose collar that could be positioned anyway you put it to the bow that cinches in the waist by simply tying a knot.
My Aldo flats that I adore give more elegance to the look. Also, the black in these ankle strap flats go along with the subtle black that is in the spots of the dress. The nude is great because it can go with anything. I absolutely love neutrals.
My accessories included wooden bracelets that look tribal. They go with this outfit harmoniously because of the earthy vibe that both the dress and bracelets give off. The monogram necklace blends with this outfit in a nice, subtle way.

Black/White

Dress: Marshalls  Shoes: Moda   Ring and Bracelets: Vintage   Clutch: Zara

Hi everybody!

This mod look that I am wearing today is edgy. The white cotton fabric lined against the tough feel of the leather is trendy because mixing textures is in for this Fall season. The lined structure creates the illusion of an hourglass shape, which complements every figure. I paired it with my suede heels that also have a mod look to them for their unique design. My slicked back hair correlates with this type of style.
The simplicity and elegance of my black clutch is perfect for the blend between tough and classy.
The combination of the suede bracelets and the art deco ring blends into this outfit nicely. My red lipstick plays a key role by adding color to this look.

Have a wonderful rest of your week. Thank you so much for reading and commenting.

Sofia

Chambray With A Splash Of Red

Blouse: Target   Blazerr: H&M   Shoes: DSW   Purse: Braciano via Tj Maxx   Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch   Necklace: Tiffany & Co.

Hi everybody!

I want to thank you all for reading and following me. Also, a huge thank you for commenting on my blog posts. I love what I am doing right now and your support helps a lot.

The look I am wearing today is cute for a date night, work, or a movie night with friends. I have been looking for a blazer for over a year now and I finally have found one last winter that is perfect for me. I wore a chambray shirt underneath for a nice contrast of texture and color. The balance is quite nice. My white jeans create a crisp look for the bottom. You know I just had to add a splash of red, and I believe the bright candy apple box purse and lipstick make this look stand out. Also, box purses are super hot this season. Their shape and style are amazing together, so make sure you get these trending handbags for this season. They come in many different colors and price ranges.

My black flats match the color of my blazer. Lastly, my Tiffany & Co. tag necklace adds to the classy casual look.

Stay beautiful,

Sofia
