It may seem tough to style work-wear. Some may think that dressing for work equals blazers, suits, and pumps, but work-wear can be chic and sophisticated when worn with items that have a modest yet trendy tone. This peplum top is perfect for work because of its dark color scheme and classy style. The eyelet material gives it that oomph that makes it different than the boring old workwear. The white skirt juxtaposes the darker colors of the top, which helps keep the look from becoming too serious. This skirt can also be worn with other tops at work (or not at work). The fit is perfect for the office. I adore these metallic heels! Isn't the style so fabulous?!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Thursday! I'm wearing my favorite black and white skirt (also worn here). I love the fullness and  the A-line  silhouette of the skirt. I wore this to an outdoor bridal shower. I can't wait to style it in the fall with a cropped blazer or a leather jacket. I feel that it is versatile for each season and flexible to dress it up for down. 

Don't for get the Nordstrom's Anniversary sale is still going on. Here are some of my suggestions.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are having a great day and making plans for the weekend. Here are somethings you might need. Though a long vacation is great and much needed. Sometime all you need is a long weekend getaway to unwind and regroup for the week ahead.  When I lived in New Jersey we were always going away cause there were so many great places to visit just a couple of hours away. In the winter and fall we loved to visit Vermont, Upstate New York. In the summer and spring Maine, Boston, Washington DC, and of course New York City anytime of the year. 

Now living in Florida we have the Keys, Naples, Sarasota, Miami Beach and Orlando.  Wherever this weekend takes you whether it's near or far.  I hope this post inspires you to getaway and relax. We all know we deserve it.
