Continuing on with my sizzling Summer road trip, I stopped by New York City to walk around one of my favorite cities. As some rushed to work, many (including me) snapped photos of the Empire State Building, Chrysler building, and more tall architectures that provided shade from the scorching sun.
By the time I was ready for lunch, I already knew where I was going to eat a delectable meal: Lombardi's. Being the first pizzeria in America, Lombardi's is also the number one pizza in my heart. The white cheese pizza is beyond amazing. The mix of romano, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese blends in your mouth in a savory delight. The coal-fire oven creates a crunchy crust that is amazing!
After the exquisite lunch, I shopped in stores like Zara, H&M, and Macy's. They all were full of beautiful collections. I was very tempted to sell out all the stores completely, but opted to buy some statement pieces such as, necklaces and beautifully designed blouses.
Dinner time proved to be delicious. I went to Ed's Lobster Bar to eat a lobster roll. I've actually been on a hunt to find the best lobster rolls and throughout my whole vacation, have been tasting delightful lobster rolls. But, Ed's Lobster Bar proved to be my favorite. It consists of large chunks of lobster meat, tossed in mayonnaise, and topped with minced celery and chives. All on a toasted roll. Yummo!! The lobster meat was so fresh and plentiful. And the mayo was light and not overpowering. Overall, a very good dinner!
The city that never sleeps never fails at leaving me giddy every time I'm present. THe lights, the food, the shopping, and the whole experience was magical!
