Travel Diary: Getting to know Positano

View from my apartment

Hi everybody!

This day consisted of traveling throughout Positano on foot, so that I could get to know this resort town. My apartment was right next to the coastline, so as soon as I got out of my apartment I was the beach. This was honestly my favorite part of Positano because it was lined with open restaurants, filled with relaxed tourists roaming about, and reminded me of a tropical beach town. I decided to climb the hills up to the church in the center of Positano. After viewing the gorgeous church, I continued to enter through this canopy of bugambilias. Here, there was a long walkway where merchants would sell accessories and tiny trinkets. I then proceeded to the Delicatessen to buy some ingredients to make myself lunch. As soon as I entered, I could smell the scents of Italian cheeses and meats. I headed home to make my prosciutto and mozzarella. All the tastes were authentic and delicious. I proceeded to head out just to enjoy the sites and local life of Positano. I headed into some shops, including Sapori e Profumi, where there were loads of souvenirs to buy.

Thank you so much for reading!

Stay beautiful,

Sofia
